The 1st Mandar International Conference on Innovations and Insights in Education, Science, Linguistics & Technology is organized by the Research and Community Service Unit of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Sulawesi Barat. This inaugural event serves as a global academic forum that brings together educators, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange ideas, present research findings, and foster collaboration across disciplines. By carrying the local identity of Mandar into the international arena, the conference highlights the region’s intellectual contributions while addressing contemporary challenges in sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation-driven education.

FKIP Universitas Sulawesi Barat was officially established in 2017 through the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 41 of 2017, and began its operations on May 30, 2018. As part of the university’s transformation from a private institution into a state university in 2013, FKIP was founded to expand academic opportunities and strengthen research-based education. Today, FKIP Unsulbar continues to grow as a vital academic hub, committed to advancing knowledge, nurturing future educators, and building international networks through initiatives such as the Mandar International Conference.
